Neue Haas Grotesk Font is a versatile sans serif font family that’s ideal for building a contemporary yet timeless brand look.
The initial style is humanist Grotesk sans which is fit for various design purposes.
The font was to be the answer to the British and German grotesques that had become hugely popular thanks to the success of functionalist Swiss typography. The typeface was soon revised and released as Helvetica by Linotype AG.
As Neue Haas Grotesk had to be adapted to work on Linotype’s hot metal line casters, Linotype Helvetica was in some ways a radically transformed version of the original.
The font is designed from handmade geometrical shapes and the developers performed extensive kerning to add the utmost perfection to each glyph combination.
