The Acres Serif also includes 33 specially designed ligatures (double and triple letter combinations) for added customization. These standard ligatures should activate automatically in OpenType-capable software. The font is all-caps; however, ligatures will only activate when typing in uppercase (i.e., disabling caps lock provides a quick way to turn off ligatures). Raised small-caps for A, E, I, O, and U can be accessed by enabling “Stylistic Alternates” and typing each letter in uppercase. All special characters can also be manually inserted via a glyphs panel.
